Do It Up

If I could tell my best friend one thing that I cannot stand about them it would be that I would rather talk to them at any part in the day rather then when I am laying down in bed trying to go to sleep. I turn out the light and plan on sleeping and the floodgates seem to open about what happened during the day or questions about previous events. Where were all those comments when we were awake with ample time to talk? I imagine their reaction would be understanding (depending on how I phrased it) but somewhat bummed that I don't always enjoy that last bit of conversation before going to bed.
